The English swaps guide no longer prints the rate, but the localized help guides still list it, and no stablecoin exemption is documented. Perps fees depend on MetaMask Rewards level: 0.1432% taker / 0.1144% maker at Levels 1-3 or without Rewards, falling to 0.0782% / 0.0494% at Levels 6-7. Hyperliquid also charges a flat $1 perps withdrawal fee. On a $1,000 trade that you later sell, MetaMask's own fees come to about $17.50. Network (gas/priority) fees and pool fees are charged on top.

Perps: taker 0.143%, maker 0.114% — Total perps trading fees by MetaMask Rewards level: Levels 1-3 (and users not in Rewards) 0.1432% taker / 0.1144% maker. Levels 4-5: 0.0932% / 0.0644%. Levels 6-7: 0.0782% / 0.0494%. Fees are charged on open and close. Powered by Hyperliquid, with up to 50x leverage. metamask.io/perps says 'MetaMask doesn't take any fees on perps transactions', which conflicts with this help-center table of total fees.

- Network fees: Solana base + priority fees, or gas on EVM chains. Usually cents on Solana, but priority tips during busy launches can be more.
- Pool (LP) fees: the DEX pool the trade routes through takes its own cut (for example Pump.fun's bonding curve charges 1.25%).
- Price impact and slippage: on thin memecoin pools this is often bigger than every fee combined.
