Where the numbers come from

Every fee, referral rate, availability rule, funding round and incident on DexSheet comes from a public source — the venue's own docs, fee page or terms first, reputable press or on-chain dashboards second. Each sheet lists its sources and the date we checked them. If we can't verify a number, we show "—" rather than guess.

What "round trip" means

Round trip = the platform fee for buying and later selling the same amount, at the venue's default tier. It excludes network fees, DEX pool fees, price impact and slippage, which depend on the specific trade. Where a venue offers a referral discount, calculators let you apply it.

How rankings work

Each ranked list first filters to live venues that actually do the job in the title (for example, Solana support, a mobile app, or availability in the US). It then ranks by cost, by perps taker fee, or — for beginner lists — by how few steps it takes to complete the job. Each list states which rule it uses. Suspended and merged venues are excluded from lists but keep their sheet so people can see what happened.

Referral links never change a rank

Many venues pay referrers a share of trading fees. DexSheet uses its own referral links where a venue has a program. Rankings are computed from the published data above; several top picks pay us nothing. See the disclosure.

What "legit" means here

A legit venue is a real, operating business or protocol with a track record. It does not mean low-risk. The coins traded on legit venues can still go to zero, and we never call a venue or token "safe".

Freshness

Fees change often. We re-check every venue's fee and terms pages on a schedule and record changes. If the venue's own page disagrees with ours, the venue's page wins — and please tell us.
