Tokens on our hot list answer instantly. Any other token gets an on-demand check: the bot says "Checking…", then edits the message into the card after 5–20 seconds. On-demand checks are kept for 6 hours and are limited to about 10 new checks per hour per person.
Privacy
- In groups the bot only receives and answers its own commands and direct mentions. It never replies to normal chat.
- No messages, usernames, names or chat ids are stored. Usage counts use a one-way hash of the chat id.
- Buy links are referral links (see our disclosure); a token that failed its check never gets one.
How the score works
The bot uses the same check as the website: who can change the token's rules, whether it can be sold, whether its liquidity is real, who holds it, and its track record, weighted into one score. Read the SheetScore methodology, use the rug checker on the web, or call the free API.

Is there a Telegram bot that checks tokens for rug pulls?

Can I add the rug check bot to my group?
Yes. Use the "Add to your group" link. In groups the bot only answers its own commands (/check, /score, /rug, /ca, /help) or a direct @DexSheetBot mention, so it never replies to normal chat.
Does the bot read my messages?
In groups, Telegram only delivers commands addressed to the bot and direct mentions, and the bot ignores everything else. It stores no messages, usernames or chat ids; analytics use a one-way hash of the chat id.
Is it a honeypot checker?
Yes. On Ethereum, Base and BNB Chain the check simulates a buy and a sell and looks at whether real holders could sell; on Solana it checks for a sell route, freeze authority and transfer traps. A token that cannot be sold fails outright.
What does a high score mean?
That we found fewer of the known rug patterns in public on-chain data. It is an estimate, not a guarantee: the bot cannot see a team selling its own tokens or a new kind of trick. Nothing is 100% safe.
