Rug checker

Paste any token address from the 7 chains we cover to check it for rug-pull and honeypot patterns. SheetScore, 0 to 95, weighs whether it can be sold, who can mint, freeze or change it, taxes, liquidity and holders; a fatal finding such as a failed sell caps it at 10. Method version Oct 29, 2026.

What we check

PillarWeightWhat it covers
Can you sell?30%Sell route or sell simulation, real holders' sell outcomes, buy and sell tax.
Who can change the rules?30%Mint, freeze, pause, blacklist, upgrade and owner powers, and who holds them (nobody, a known bridge or issuer, a multisig or timelock, or a single wallet).
Is the liquidity real?20%Pool depth, whether liquidity has collapsed from its peak, and, for tokens under 30 days old, whether the creator can pull the LP.
Who holds it?12%Share held by the 10 largest ordinary wallets after excluding pools, burn addresses, lockers, vesting contracts, bridges and labelled exchanges, plus the creator's share.
Track record8%Age, verified source code, RugCheck's second opinion and, on Solana, Jupiter verification.

Any failed sell, live mint or freeze authority held by a single wallet, a liquidity pull, or one wallet holding almost all of the supply fails the token outright. New tokens are capped lower because nothing on-chain can show a team that hasn't sold yet. How SheetScore works · How to spot a rug pull · What a honeypot token is.

FAQ

How do I check if a token is a rug pull?

Paste its contract address above. We check who can mint, freeze, pause or upgrade it, whether it can actually be sold (a sell quote on Solana, a buy and sell simulation on EVM chains), the buy and sell tax, whether the liquidity is real and has not collapsed, and how much of the supply sits in ordinary wallets, then combine it into one score from 0 to 95.

Is this a honeypot checker?

Yes. On Ethereum, Base and BNB Chain we simulate a buy and a sell and look at whether real holders managed to sell; on Solana we ask Jupiter for a sell route and check for freeze authority, permanent delegates and transfer hooks, the Solana ways of trapping buyers. A failed sell is a fatal finding.

Which chains can I check?

Solana, Ethereum, Base, BNB Chain, Arbitrum, Robinhood Chain and HyperEVM. Solana addresses are detected automatically; for a 0x address we find the chain it trades on, or you can pick it.

Does a high score mean the token is safe?

No. SheetScore means we found fewer of the known rug patterns in public on-chain data. It cannot see a team selling its own tokens, a hack, or a new trick, and new tokens are capped lower because they have no track record. Nothing is 100% safe.

Is the rug checker free?

Yes. Each check takes 5 to 20 seconds and is kept for 6 hours. Tokens on our hot list are re-checked on a schedule; on-demand checks are not monitored.

SheetScore is a weighted estimate of rug risk from public on-chain data at the time shown. It is not a guarantee, a calibrated probability or financial advice. A high score means we found fewer of the known rug patterns, not that a token is safe or will hold its price. Nothing is 100% safe.
