Lighter drops first-week fee rebate for referred users, pays referral rewards in LIT
Lighter updated its referral program page on 27 October 2026. The page no longer says referred users get their first week of Premium/Advanced fees rebated, and it now states that weekly payouts to both referrers and referred users are made in LIT tokens.
Who is affected: Traders who sign up through a Lighter referral link and use a Premium/Advanced account, and referrers, whose payouts arrive in LIT.
