Is the Lighter referral code legit?
Yes — it is Lighter's own program. The code only links your account to a referrer for fee sharing and gives you about 10% off fees. It never needs your keys or seed phrase.
Can I add a Lighter referral code after signing up?
No. The referrer is recorded at signup and cannot be changed afterwards.
How does the Lighter referral program work?
Since July 28, 2026, referrers earn 10% of referred users' gross fees, or 20% at Silver tier after 15 qualifying referrals. Referees get a 10% fee rebate weekly. Since Standard accounts pay no fees, rewards only arise from paid account types.
