Standard accounts (the default) pay 0% maker and 0% taker on perps and spot, with 300 ms taker latency. Opt-in Premium/Advanced accounts pay 0.004% maker / 0.028% taker with 140 ms taker latency, discounted up to 30% by staking LIT. Opt-in Plus accounts pay 0.005% (0.5 bps) both sides. On a $1,000 trade that you later sell, Lighter's own fees come to about $0.00, or $0.00 with a referral discount. Network (gas/priority) fees and pool fees are charged on top.

Fees DexSheet doesn't count
- Network fees: Solana base + priority fees, or gas on EVM chains. Usually cents on Solana, but priority tips during busy launches can be more.
- Pool (LP) fees: the DEX pool the trade routes through takes its own cut (for example Pump.fun's bonding curve charges 1.25%).
- Price impact and slippage: on thin memecoin pools this is often bigger than every fee combined.
