Commission on non-crypto markets (non-Lite plans) 4bps (0.04%) per side→2bps (0.02%) per side
Commodity markets Gold→Gold, silver, WTI oil, Brent oil, copper, natural gas
On a $100,000 trade (commission on a round trip (open and close) of a $100,000 non-crypto position, non-Lite plan, per Kraken) $80.00→$40.00

Kraken said on 29 October 2026 that silver, WTI oil, Brent oil, copper and natural gas are now live on Kraken Prop alongside gold. On all plans other than Lite, commission on every non-crypto market, including the new commodities and the S&P 500 and XYZ100 index markets, is now 2 basis points per side, down from 4.

Kraken says the lower rate also applies to evaluations and funded accounts traders already hold. Crypto markets are unchanged, and Lite-plan traders get the commodities at up to 20x leverage with their existing commission rate. On a $100,000 position, Kraken says a round trip now costs $40 in commission instead of $80. Kraken does not describe the cut as temporary.

Kraken Prop is not live trading on the Kraken exchange. Kraken says traders provide trade signals only, do not hold real positions and are paid based on simulated performance, and describes it as an unregulated service offered by Breakout and Payward Oceanic Ltd. The new markets are available in every region where Kraken Prop is offered except the UAE. Leverage on the new markets ranges from 3x on natural gas to 10x on copper, with per-market notional caps that Kraken says are under review.
