Effective Oct 22, 2026: Extended moves settlement from Starknet to Circle's Arc; drops USDT and wBTC. Affects: All Extended traders, especially those who held USDT or wBTC as collateral. Source: docs.extended.exchange, verified Oct 29, 2026. Extended code DEXSHEET (10% off fees).
Extended, the perpetuals exchange formerly known as X10, moved its settlement layer from Starknet to Arc, the Layer 1 blockchain developed by Circle, on 22 October 2026. Extended describes the move as the first step of a strategic partnership with Circle.
Accounts, sub-accounts, balances, positions, orders, trading history and points carried over automatically, and traders log in with the same wallet and keys, including Starknet wallets. Extended says trading continued without interruption.
USDC is now native USDC on Arc, moved through Circle's CCTP, ETH is held as wETH, and Circle's cirBTC replaces wBTC as BTC collateral. USDT and wBTC deposits were disabled on all chains from 8 October 2026; remaining balances were converted 1:1 to USDC and cirBTC with no fee, and a 0.5% premium on the converted amount was credited after the migration.
Trading fees are unchanged at 0.025% taker and 0% maker on crypto markets. Extended updated its Terms of Use for the migration.
“The migration from Starknet took place on 22 October 2026 and is the first step of a strategic partnership between Extended and Circle.”
