Kalshi announced on 29 October 2026 a $1 billion Series G at a $40 billion post-money valuation, co-led by Wellington and Sequoia. The company says it will use the money to launch new products, including indices, single-stock perpetual futures and compute markets, and to expand internationally.
Other investors in the round include Baillie Gifford, Stripes, Andreessen Horowitz, Coatue, Morgan Stanley Investment Management, CapitalG, Hudson River Trading and Balyasny Asset Management. Kalshi raised $1 billion at a $22 billion valuation in May 2026.
Kalshi says its perpetual futures business has reached $83 billion in trading volume and more than 500,000 traders since launching a few months ago. It also says total annualized trading volume exceeds $1 trillion and that it accounts for over 75% of prediction-market volume. These are the company's own figures.
None of the new products is live yet, and Kalshi gave no dates. Its perps are currently open only to approved US users. The international push will focus on Latin America and Europe; Kalshi did not name new countries.
“We'll accelerate our prediction market growth, grow institutional adoption, launch new products like indices, single-stock perpetual futures, and compute markets.”
