VELO to AERO rate 0.044 AERO per VELO

Aerodrome and Velodrome upgraded together into Aero at 00:00 UTC on 22 October 2026, according to Aero's upgrade hub. Aerodrome and Velodrome emissions stopped at launch and all gauges on the legacy apps are deactivated.

Liquid AERO converts 1:1 to the new AERO and VELO at 0.044 AERO; veAERO and veVELO upgrade to sAERO. The hub says upgrading is irreversible and has no set deadline.

The Aerodrome and Velodrome front ends stay live to facilitate the upgrade, and the hub says legacy front ends may be shut down at a later date. Holders must upgrade to earn AERO Rewards or Exchange Revenue on Aero.

Aero launched on Base, Ethereum Mainnet, OP Mainnet, Arc, Ink, Robinhood Chain and Arbitrum. This follows DexSheet's earlier 22 October entry that reported the upgrade as scheduled.
