Effective Oct 20, 2026: OpenSea Mobile launches for everyone, with referral codes worth 10% off swap fees. Affects: New OpenSea users who sign up in the app with a referral code, and anyone sharing a code. Source: opensea.io, verified Oct 29, 2026. OpenSea code 24G693 (10% off fees).
OpenSea Mobile went live for everyone on iOS and Android on 20 October 2026, and OpenSea says it includes a referral program at launch. A user who signs up with a referral code gets 10% off OpenSea's fee on token swaps, 0.45% instead of 0.5%, and the referrer earns 25% of the fee OpenSea collects on those swaps after the discount.
Codes are 6 letters or numbers and are entered in the app during email sign-up. Each account has one referrer, set when it is created, and it cannot be changed. Swaps made in the app and on opensea.io both count; NFT trades get no discount and earn no rewards.
OpenSea's referral terms say referral relationships created before 20 October 2026 carry over, but rewards accrue only on swaps made from that date. The app lets you trade tokens across more than 25 chains, and OpenSea charges 1% on NFT sales.
“Invite a friend with your referral code and they get 10% off their OpenSea fees. You receive 25% of the fees they generate.”
