1inch is discontinuing the 1inch Card, its Mastercard debit card run with card provider Crypto Life (CL). Its help-center FAQ says new sign-ups are closed, existing cards and accounts remain accessible for now, and holders should withdraw or spend their balance as soon as they reasonably can and at the latest by 18 December 2026. The wind-down was first reported on 20 October 2026.
1inch says 18 December is "as far ahead as we can currently foresee" and that exact card timelines are set by the issuer and provider, not 1inch, so it cannot guarantee a specific end date. Card accounts are managed by Crypto Life, which handles account closure, card status, identity checks (KYC) and personal data requests through [email protected] or the chat in the card account. 1inch says it cannot act on account-level requests itself, but will log and escalate a case if CL support does not respond.
Balances left after an account closes are not forfeited, according to 1inch: it cites the issuer's published card terms, which let remaining e-wallet funds be redeemed for up to six years after closure. It still recommends withdrawing now rather than relying on that route. The issuer terms it links also allow identity checks and redemption fees on funds redeemed later. 1inch has not given a reason for ending the program or announced a replacement card.
1inch launched the card in April 2024 with Crypto Life and Mastercard for spending crypto online, in stores and at ATMs. The wind-down does not affect 1inch's swap aggregator, 1inch Wallet or API; it affects only holders of the card and its e-wallet balance.
“Don't wait: move your balance as soon as you reasonably can, and at the latest by 18 December 2026, which is as far ahead as we can currently foresee.”
