Why can't I withdraw from Robinhood?
Crypto leaves Robinhood by sending it to an external wallet address from the coin's page in the app. Crypto transfers are final and cannot be reversed, even by Robinhood. Robinhood documents 5 reasons a withdrawal can be delayed or held, listed below.
Checked 2026-10-17 · 3 sources- Fee: Robinhood charges no fee to send crypto; only the blockchain network fee applies, and Robinhood does not keep it.
- Timing: Identity verification to enable transfers can take up to 5 business days; deposits need a set number of blockchain confirmations.
- Withdrawal limits depend on verification level, transaction history and payment methods, and cannot be raised manually.
- Turning on address allowlisting adds a 48-hour wait during which withdrawals to new addresses are paused.
- Crypto bought with instant funds cannot be withdrawn until the bank transfer fully clears.
- Crypto bought with ACATS bonus buying power cannot be withdrawn while its hold period runs.
- Transfers can be paused during a security or safety review.
- Only the venue's own support team can release a held withdrawal.
- Anyone offering to "recover" funds for a fee, or asking for your login or seed phrase, is running a scam.
