What a Robinhood referral code gets you: a separate sign-up stock reward after opening an eligible account and linking a bank or debit card. The code only applies when you create your account; it cannot be added later.

Is the Robinhood referral code legit?

Yes — it is Robinhood's own program. The code only links your account to a referrer for fee sharing. It never needs your keys or seed phrase.

Can I add a Robinhood referral code after signing up?

No. The referrer is recorded at signup and cannot be changed afterwards.

Does Robinhood have a referral program?

Yes, for US residents. Referrers earn stock rewards at milestones: $50 for 1 referral up to $10,000 for 200, capped at $15,000 a year. Friends can get a separate sign-up stock reward. Rewards are stock, not crypto.
