Gemini closes all customer accounts in the UK, EEA and Australia
Gemini closed all customer accounts in the United Kingdom, the European Economic Area and Australia effective 6 April 2026. Its support notice says new account creation and incentive programs were disabled first, and accounts moved to withdrawal-only mode from 5 March 2026.
Who is affected: Gemini customers resident in the UK, the European Economic Area and Australia, and anyone comparing Gemini for use in those regions.
Referral change November 24, 2025
Gemini ends revenue-share referral tiers; new referrals earn $50 each side
Gemini discontinued its Icon and Legend revenue-share referral tiers for referrals made on or after 24 November 2025. New referrals qualify only for the Recruit reward.
Who is affected: Gemini users who refer new customers, and new customers who sign up through a referral.
