Effective Nov 3, 2026: Kalshi lists perps on four US stocks, first single-stock perps on a US-regulated exchange. Affects: US traders approved for Kalshi perps who want leveraged long or short exposure to individual stocks. Source: kalshi.com, verified Nov 4, 2026.

Kalshi began offering perpetual futures on individual US stocks on 3 November 2026, the day the CFTC said single-stock perps had been deemed approved as security futures. On 4 November Kalshi's stocks page listed four contracts, on Qualcomm, McDonald's, Amgen and Costco, each with maximum leverage of 4.9x, offered through its futures broker Kalshi Prime LLC.
Ledger Insights reports that the cleared filing was Kalshi's, submitted under CFTC Regulation 40.3 on 18 September; the 45-day review window ran out on 2 November without a CFTC objection. It says the approval covers about 50 US stocks and ETFs, including Nvidia, Apple, Tesla, SpaceX and the SPY and QQQ funds. On 4 November Kalshi's site showed only the four stock contracts, and its pages for Nvidia and Apple perps returned not found. Kalshi has not said when more will be listed.
The stock perps trade from 6pm ET Sunday to 5pm ET Friday, beyond regular stock-market hours, and have no expiry; a funding payment keeps the price near the stock. They are derivatives that track the share price; buyers do not own the stock. Each showed under $2 million of 24-hour volume on 4 November. Kalshi already offered perps on two US stock indices, crypto, metals and oil; its US Tech 100 index perp showed 11.8x maximum leverage.
Access is limited to Kalshi users approved for perps, which Kalshi offers only in the US through Kalshi Prime. Coinbase Derivatives, Bitnomial and Crypto.com's Nadex have filed similar contracts that are still pending, according to Ledger Insights. The policy is contested: the securities-industry group SIFMA asked the SEC and CFTC on 2 November to block the products, and a group whose members include Cboe and Citadel Securities sued the CFTC on 3 November. No court has ruled.
“Security futures products are offered by Kalshi Prime LLC and aren’t suitable for all customers. First use date: Nov 3, 2026.”
