Effective Oct 29, 2026: Polymarket adds 15-minute gold and silver Up or Down markets, settled by Chainlink. Affects: Traders on the international polymarket.com site who trade short-dated price markets. Source: prnewswire.com, verified Oct 29, 2026. Polymarket code dexsheet.
Polymarket said on 29 October 2026 that 15-minute Up or Down markets on gold and silver are live, and named Chainlink as its official oracle for its high-speed Up or Down markets. Each market asks whether the gold or silver price at the end of a 15-minute window will be at or above the price at the start, measured by Chainlink's XAU/USD or XAG/USD data stream.
Until now Polymarket's 5- and 15-minute Up or Down markets covered crypto prices, which Chainlink has settled since September 2025; Polymarket says those markets have done more than $11 billion in volume. Gold and silver were already listed as daily Up or Down markets, which resolve on Pyth price data. The new 15-minute metals markets resolve on Chainlink data only, not on spot or futures prices from other sources.
The release says Polymarket plans to extend these markets to equities, commodities and forex, but gives no dates or list of assets. Market makers and algorithmic traders can now get self-serve access to the same Chainlink Data Streams used to settle the markets.
The markets are on the international site, polymarket.com, which blocks trading from the United States. The release does not say whether Polymarket US, the separate CFTC-regulated exchange, will list them.
“15-minute gold and silver markets are now live on Polymarket as it expands its offerings beyond crypto and into the world's most widely traded assets across equities, commodities, and forex.”
