OKXICE, the 50-50 joint venture of OKX's US holding company and NYSE owner Intercontinental Exchange (ICE), published a public notice dated 28 October 2026 that lists 38 companies objecting to tokenized versions of their shares trading on its planned venue, up from 33 in the 27 October notice. The five new objectors are Walmart, Eli Lilly, Carnival, Arcos Dorados and Cigna.
OKXICE filed its plan in early October under the SEC's temporary Innovation Exemption for tokenized stock venues, which gives each listed company 30 days to object. A written objection stops that venue from offering that company's token; it does not cover other venues. The first notice proposed 63 tickers from 62 companies, according to CoinDesk, which counted 30 of those 62 among the objectors as of the 27 October notice. Earlier objectors include Microsoft, Alphabet, Broadcom, JPMorgan, Goldman Sachs, Coca-Cola, AMD and Intel. The notices give no reasons.
The notice describes 24/7 trading of tokenized US stocks, each backed one-for-one by shares held at a registered broker-dealer, in permissioned Uniswap v4 pools on X Layer paired with stablecoins such as USDC. Traders would pass identity checks run by OKX Inc. and trade from their own wallet, such as OKX Wallet. Fees would be a service fee plus a pool fee and gas; the fee schedule has not been published.
Nothing is tradable yet, and the notice gives no start date. This venue is separate from ICE's 29 October plan with Trade[XYZ] for US-regulated Hyperliquid perps, which also still needs approval.
“As of the date of this Notice, OKXICE TSV has received a Notice of Issuer Objection from the following issuers:”
