How to use Solscan without getting scammed
- Only open solscan.io — fake lookalike sites and "support" DMs are the most common way people lose funds on any trading venue.
- Never share a seed phrase or private key. No real support agent will ask for one.
- A referral code only changes your fee and who gets a share of it. It never needs your keys.
- Treat every new memecoin as able to go to zero. A legit venue does not make the coins on it safe.

Is Solscan legit?
Solscan is a Solana block explorer operated by Block Solutions Pte. Ltd., a Singapore company named in its terms. It claims 15M+ monthly unique visitors. Always type the URL yourself, since look-alike explorer sites exist.
Is Solscan free?
Yes for browsing. Solscan sells a Pro API, white-label explorer service and advertising rather than charging explorer users.
What can I check on Solscan?
Any wallet, transaction signature, token mint, NFT or program, with status, fees, balances and decoded instructions. Token pages show supply and transfers, and labels mark known entities.
Does Solscan have an API?
Yes. The Solscan Pro API covers accounts, tokens, transactions, markets and programs. Some analytics endpoints are free; paid plan prices were not captured.
Is Solscan the same as a token scanner?
No. It is a block explorer. Dedicated scanners such as RugCheck add automated risk checks on top of on-chain data.
