Is DEX Screener legit?

No reported hacks, exploits or frozen withdrawals in the sources we checked.

Real downsides

• Paid Boosts and ads can raise a token's visibility and Trending Score, so trending lists are partly shaped by spending.
• Boost pack prices are not published in the docs; they only show in the web checkout.
• Data is processed automatically without human moderation, so scam tokens appear alongside legitimate ones.
• No built-in trading: you need a separate wallet, DEX or bot to act on what you find.

Can you use it where you live?

The terms are with DEX Screener, Inc. (Delaware). Their only regional limit is a statement that you are not in a country under a US embargo or on a US government restricted-party list; they add a clause for EU consumers and set no UK-specific limit. Direct ad deals require KYC. (source)

How to use DEX Screener without getting scammed

• Only open dexscreener.com — fake lookalike sites and "support" DMs are the most common way people lose funds on any trading venue.
• Never share a seed phrase or private key. No real support agent will ask for one.
• A referral code only changes your fee and who gets a share of it. It never needs your keys.
• Treat every new memecoin as able to go to zero. A legit venue does not make the coins on it safe.
