Solflare validator stops earning after provider key incident; stakers told to migrate by Nov 1

Solflare said on 27 October 2026 that the outside company running its Solana staking validator had reported a security incident affecting the keys it holds for that validator, and that the validator had stopped producing rewards. On 28 October Solflare launched a replacement validator, and it later said users who move their stake from Solflare (Legacy) to the new validator by 1 November will be compensated for rewards missed since 26 October.

Who is affected: Anyone who natively staked SOL to the Solflare validator, now labelled Solflare (Legacy) in the app. Other Solflare wallet features were not reported affected.
