Users generate wallets in the bot or import a private key. Maestro's terms state the bot must have access to, and retains, users' private keys to execute trades, while saying it does not take custody of users' assets. Docs say keys are AES-encrypted.
Incidents

How to use Maestro without getting scammed
- Only open www.maestrobots.com — fake lookalike sites and "support" DMs are the most common way people lose funds on any trading venue.
- Never share a seed phrase or private key. No real support agent will ask for one.
- A referral code only changes your fee and who gets a share of it. It never needs your keys.
- Treat every new memecoin as able to go to zero. A legit venue does not make the coins on it safe.

FAQ
Is Maestro legit?
Maestro is operated by Algo Tech Ltd. under British Columbia law and has DefiLlama-tracked fees since July 2022. Its bot holds users' private keys to trade. In October 2023 its router contract was exploited for about 280 ETH, and Maestro refunded affected users from its own revenue. No funding round was found.
What fees does Maestro charge?
Maestro charges 1% on every successful buy and sell. Transfers are free. On Solana the fee is taken in the trade; on other chains it accrues and is collected above a minimum. Cashback returns 15% to 30% of fees by volume tier.
How much is Maestro Premium?
Premium costs $200 per month, paid through the bot's /premium menu. It adds the faster Maestro Pro Bot, 30 concurrent trades instead of 10, 12 copytrade wallets per chain instead of 5, and up to 120 limit orders.
How does the Maestro referral program work?
Referrers earn a 25% lifetime commission on fees from first-time users who start the bot through their link. Token-specific Quick-Buy links split the commission with an existing referrer. Earnings are withdrawn manually to a connected Fee Wallet.
Can I use Maestro in the US?
Maestro's terms list the United States and Canada as Restricted Locations, so use from those countries is not permitted under its terms.
