Bundled launch (bundles and bundled buys)
A bundled launch is a token launch where a group of wallets buys in the same block, or within seconds of trading opening, often controlled by the creator or by sniper bots. Bundled buyers get the lowest prices and can hold a large share of supply that they can sell together.
Bundles versus clusters
Bubblemaps defines a bundle as wallets that bought a token in the same block, or within seconds of each other, at launch. It calls this the classic fingerprint of a volume bot or a team pre-loading supply. A cluster is different: wallets linked over time by shared funding sources, transfers or recycled addresses. A token can show no bundle but still have a large cluster, or the reverse.
How same-block buys are possible
On Solana, Jito bundles let up to five transactions execute in a set order within the same slot, all or nothing. That is one mechanism that lets a creation transaction and several wallet buys land together, in a fixed order, within one slot. GMGN's docs label buyers in the first few blocks as snipers and track the first 70 buyers' holdings separately.
Why it matters
Bubblemaps describes bundles as a rug pull indicator. A coordinated position held from the first block can be dumped at any peak, and Bubblemaps calls a bundle holding 10% or more of supply a major red flag. GMGN also flags insider wallets, meaning wallets that hold the token without having bought after trading opened. That pattern can mean the creator spread supply across many addresses.
What to check before you trade
Look at the bundle and sniper figures on Bubblemaps, GMGN or your terminal's holder tab. Check whether those wallets still hold or have sold, and how much of supply they control. Fresh wallets with no history that bought together are a stronger warning than an established holder. These tools flag patterns, not intent, and their data can lag. GMGN's docs say holding status is for reference only.
