Is the edgeX referral code legit?

Yes — it is edgeX's own program. The code only links your account to a referrer for fee sharing. It never needs your keys or seed phrase.

Can I add a edgeX referral code after signing up?

edgeX does not document this clearly; assume it must be used at signup.

How does the edgeX referral program work?

edgeX advertises up to 30% commission. Referrers reach 5% at Lv.1 with 5 valid friends and $500K of friends' volume, 15% at Lv.2 with 30 friends and $3M, and 30% at Lv.3 with 100 friends and $10M. The page does not state a referee discount.
