Assumes the volume is bought and later sold at the default Hyperliquid rate (0.09% per round trip). Network and pool fees are not affected by the code.

  2. Create your account in the same browser session so the referral is recorded.
  3. Check your fee rate in Hyperliquid's settings or trade confirmation — it should show the 4% discount.

Is the Hyperliquid referral code legit?

Yes — it is Hyperliquid's own program. The code only links your account to a referrer for fee sharing and gives you about 4% off fees. It never needs your keys or seed phrase.

Can I add a Hyperliquid referral code after signing up?

Hyperliquid does not document this clearly; assume it must be used at signup.

How does the Hyperliquid referral program work?

Referrers who have traded $10,000 can create a code and earn 10% of referred users' fees on each referee's first $1B of volume. Referees get a 4% fee discount on their first $25M of volume. Discounts do not apply to vaults or sub-accounts.
