| Opening/closing fee: degen pairs (500x) | platform | 0.02% | Buy and sell | BTCDEGEN/USD and the other degen pairs open at 500x only. Fixed spread 0% on BTC, ETH, XRP and BNB degen pairs, 0.005% per side on the others. |
| Opening/closing fee: forex | platform | 0.012% | Buy and sell | 0.012% per side on majors, 0.016% on minors, 0.02% on exotics. |
| Opening/closing fee: stocks | platform | 0.05% | Buy and sell | Three groups: 0.05% (e.g. MSFT, GOOGL, MCD), 0.04% (AAPL, NVDA, PYPL) and 0.03% (AMD, SNAP, GME) per side. |

| Price impact | spread | — | Buy and sell | Liquidity impact plus skew impact on most crypto and forex pairs, based on trade size, recent open interest and Binance order-book depth. Trading against the heavier side can improve the price. Stocks, indices and commodities are fixed-spread only. |
| Protection close factor | other | — | close | Closing in profit within a few minutes of opening or adding multiplies the liquidity impact on that close, by 20x for about 3 minutes on most Arbitrum pairs and 4x on Base and Polygon (values as of 2026-10-12). Not applied to BTC, ETH, stocks, indices or commodities. |
| Funding fee | protocol | — | Buy and sell | Paid by the side with more open interest to the other side, charged per second on position size; can be earned. |
| Borrowing fee | protocol | — | Buy and sell | Paid per block by the dominant side, priced from the pair's net open interest relative to vault TVL. Always a cost, and it moves the liquidation price closer over time. |
| Network (gas) fee | network | — | Buy and sell | Paid in the chain's gas token with your own wallet; covered by Gains for instant-wallet trades, which Gains says can change. |

Fees DexSheet doesn't count
- Network fees: Solana base + priority fees, or gas on EVM chains. Usually cents on Solana, but priority tips during busy launches can be more.
- Pool (LP) fees: the DEX pool the trade routes through takes its own cut (for example Pump.fun's bonding curve charges 1.25%).
- Price impact and slippage: on thin memecoin pools this is often bigger than every fee combined.
