Is the dYdX referral code legit?

Yes — it is dYdX's own program. The code only links your account to a referrer for fee sharing. It never needs your keys or seed phrase.

Can I add a dYdX referral code after signing up?

dYdX does not document this clearly; assume it must be used at signup.

Does dYdX have a referral program?

Yes. Under the structure reported in January 2026, affiliates earn 30% of referred users' taker fees, rising to 40% above $1M and 50% above $10M of 30-day referred volume. The program excludes the US, UK and Canada.
