- What it shows: DEX Screener indexes DEX pairs, prices, volume and trending tokens straight from each chain. Nansen adds who is trading: wallet labels, Smart Money flows, holder breakdowns and wallet PnL.
- Price: DEX Screener is free for traders and earns from token projects buying Boosts and ads. Nansen has a limited Free plan and one paid plan, Pro, at $69 a month or $49 a month billed annually.
- Trading: DEX Screener's docs describe no built-in swap. Nansen swaps on Solana, Base, Robinhood Chain, BNB Chain and Arc at 0.75% per swap (0.45% with Pro) and offers Hyperliquid perps with a 0.08% builder fee on top of Hyperliquid's.

Nansen: watch out for
- The default 0.75% per spot swap (1.5% buy plus sell) costs more than Fomo's 1% round trip, unless you hold Pro or climb tiers.
- Trading only works through the embedded Nansen Wallet; you cannot connect MetaMask or Phantom to trade.
- Perps are unavailable in the US and UK, and Nansen's help center lists both as restricted for spot trading too.
DEX Screener: watch out for
- Paid Boosts and ads can raise a token's visibility and Trending Score, so trending lists are partly shaped by spending.
- Boost pack prices are not published in the docs; they only show in the web checkout.
- Data is processed automatically without human moderation, so scam tokens appear alongside legitimate ones.
