Bybit announced on 19 December 2025 that it is returning to the UK after a two-year pause, Cointelegraph reported. The relaunch offers spot trading on 100 pairs and a peer-to-peer venue, with no derivatives at launch.
Bybit stopped serving UK customers in late 2023, when tougher FCA financial promotion rules took effect.
The service runs under a promotions arrangement approved by Archax, which Cointelegraph describes as FCA-authorised, rather than through Bybit's own UK registration or authorisation. Cointelegraph describes the re-entry as taking place without direct FCA supervision of Bybit.
“rather than via Bybit's own registration or authorization in the UK.”
