Is Binance Wallet legit?
Binance Wallet is a real, operating wallet. It is non-custodial, KYC: required. We found no reported hacks or fund losses in our sources. Legit is not the same as low-risk: the coins traded on it can still go to zero.

Real downsides
- A verified Binance account is required to use swap.
- Failed swaps still cost the network fee.
- The swap service fee is not stated in the official FAQ.
- Not supervised by the FSRA or any other regulator, per Binance's own disclaimer.
Can you use it where you live?
| Region | Status |
|---|---|
| United States | Unverified |
| United Kingdom | Unverified |
| European Union | Partly available |
The swap FAQ says a verified Binance account is required and lists no supported countries. For EEA users, MiCA restrictions apply to unauthorised stablecoins. It also says Binance Wallet is not supervised by the FSRA or any other regulator. (source)
We report what the venue's own terms say. Don't use a VPN to get around restrictions; venues can freeze accounts that do.
How to use Binance Wallet without getting scammed
- Only open www.binance.com/en/binancewallet — fake lookalike sites and "support" DMs are the most common way people lose funds on any trading venue.
- Never share a seed phrase or private key. No real support agent will ask for one.
- A referral code only changes your fee and who gets a share of it. It never needs your keys.
- Treat every new memecoin as able to go to zero. A legit venue does not make the coins on it safe.
