Order-book perps on general crypto pairs cost 0.04% taker and 0% maker at VIP 1, falling to 0.016% taker at VIP 6. Group B pairs start at 0.1% taker, and RWA perps carry a flat 0.0125% taker. 1001x mode charges 0.08% to open and 0.08% to close plus an execution fee. On a $1,000 trade that you later sell, Aster's own fees come to about $0.80. Network (gas/priority) fees and pool fees are charged on top.

Fees DexSheet doesn't count
- Network fees: Solana base + priority fees, or gas on EVM chains. Usually cents on Solana, but priority tips during busy launches can be more.
- Pool (LP) fees: the DEX pool the trade routes through takes its own cut (for example Pump.fun's bonding curve charges 1.25%).
- Price impact and slippage: on thin memecoin pools this is often bigger than every fee combined.
